Physician Assistant for Telehealth Program

Mobile Healthcare Partners Inc is expanding its telemedicine services and is looking for a skilled Physician Assistant to lead the Acute Management Team for homebound patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Lead the Acute Management Team for homebound patients that Mobile Primary Care is the Primary Care Provider.
- Responsible for daily coordination with triage staff to identify and complete acute telemedicine visits and subsequent service coordination.
- Lead the ER/Hospital Avoidance Team.
- Responsible for determining when it is appropriate to send a Mobile Primary Care Medical Assistant (MA) or Nurse to the patient home with telemedicine and acute care stabilization materials or coordinate a direct Sub-Acute Rehab stay.
- A minimum of 2 years clinical experience as an NP/PA in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Environment; 3-5 years is preferred.
- NP/PA must have a current and unrestricted DEA License.
- Current and unrestricted New York state license.
- Possess Basic Life Support (BLS)/Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification prior to performing work.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Software and excellent computer maneuverability.
- Must have exceptional diplomatic communication skills and experience in handling difficult customer situations.
- Must be detailed oriented and have the ability to multi-task.
- Must possess a Master's Degree in Nursing with completion of a university-based program for Nurse Practitioner.
- Must possess relevant certification from American Nurses Association or another nationally recognized certifying body.
The estimated salary for this position is around $120,000-$150,000 per year, depending on experience.
