Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst

NYC IT Inc is seeking a highly skilled Senior Threat Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our Cybersecurity Operations team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring junior analysts, coordinating team activities, and managing SOC operations effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor junior analysts to ensure the effective operation of the SOC
- Coordinate team activities to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
- Manage SOC operations to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
- Develop and implement threat intelligence strategies to identify and mitigate potential threats
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective implementation of security controls
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Threat Management/SOC/Incident Response environment
- Leadership skills, including the ability to lead and mentor junior analysts
- Prior experience working in a SOC environment is mandatory
- Familiarity with SOC operations, procedures, and tools such as SIEM systems, IDS/IPS, and EDR tools
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and procedures
- Strong understanding of network and host technologies
- Experience applying techniques for detecting host and network-based intrusion using IDS methods and technologies
- Experience with SIEM technologies, malware analysis and mitigation techniques
- Ability to investigate and solve complex problems
