Cybersecurity - Senior Digital Forensics and Threat Intelligence Investigator

We're seeking an experienced cybersecurity professional to join our team at Jane Street as a Senior Incident Responder and Forensic Investigator. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in responding to and investigating complex cyber incidents, with a focus on threat hunting and digital forensics.
Our cybersecurity team is a collaborative group of experts dedicated to protecting our organization from cyber threats. We're looking for a seasoned professional who can contribute to our incident response and threat hunting efforts, and help us stay ahead of emerging threats.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, and be able to apply this knowledge to real-world scenarios. They will be responsible for investigating and responding to cyber incidents, as well as developing and implementing threat hunting and digital forensics capabilities.

About You- Proven experience in responding to and investigating complex cyber incidents, with a focus on threat hunting and digital forensics
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices, including threat intelligence, incident response, and digital forensics
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with scripting languages and automation tools, with a strong desire to learn and grow in this area
- Ability to document and communicate complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong desire to learn and grow with our team, with a passion for staying up-to-date with emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies
