Job Summary

HF Sinclair is seeking a highly skilled Global Tax Compliance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our tax department, you will be responsible for managing direct and indirect tax matters for our operations outside of North America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage direct and indirect tax support for Company's operations outside of North America, including management of local advisors and corresponding with local tax authorities
  • Manage and/or oversee ROW direct and indirect compliance efforts, including management of tax compliance deadlines/deliverables and any local tax audits
  • Lead tax support to Accounting/external auditors with respect to the preparation of local statutory filings to ensure tax accounts are appropriately stated
  • Review ROW transfer pricing policies and support effort to prepare transfer pricing documentation for ROW operations, including local files (where applicable) and any secondary filings
  • Conduct tax research and provide technical support to other personnel, as needed
Requirements
  • Five to eight years of direct tax experience required, with experience as a manager with a public accounting firm (Big 4 or midmarket) and/or reputable multinational company preferred
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's in Accounting or Taxation or related field is required, with a Master's degree preferred. If no Master's degree, then a professional designation (CPA or other equivalent) is required
  • Proficient English written and verbal communication skills is mandatory
