UT Health Tyler is a leading hospital with 502 licensed beds, specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our facility features a 24-hour emergency room, a Level 1 trauma center, and a comprehensive stroke center, supported by over 500 physicians across various subspecialties.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in delivering patient care as directed by nursing staff and according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
- Organize and complete assigned patient care tasks under the supervision of nursing and medical staff, adhering to hospital and Emergency Department policies.
- Maintain proficiency in all required technical support skills, including the operation of necessary equipment.
- Ensure treatment areas are stocked with essential supplies and uphold cleanliness standards.
- Monitor and document patient responses to interventions and communicate any changes in condition to the Registered Nurse or physician as appropriate.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and educational activities, attending a minimum of 85% of staff meetings.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of EMT-Paramedic certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- PALS certification preferred.
