The Medication Technician position involves administering oral and topical medications to residents as ordered by a physician, under the supervision of a licensed nurse. You will also perform routine daily tasks required in maintaining the health, comfort, and well-being of our residents.

We are committed to providing a positive and supportive work environment, with a focus on resident-centered care. Our team is dedicated to ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care, and we are looking for a Medication Technician who shares our values.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications as ordered by a physician under the supervision of a licensed nurse
  • Perform routine daily tasks required in maintaining the health, comfort, and well-being of residents
  • Record the administration of medications and/or treatments appropriately
  • Notify licensed staff when a resident complains of pain
  • Take and record vital signs of residents as assigned or as may be required by certain medications

Requirements:

  • Alzheimer's & Dementia Experience Required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
