Job Overview

Position: Project Coordinator - Bilingual Required

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and assist the Superintendent with project documentation and reporting.
  • Create and manage logs for subcontractors and purchase orders.
  • Review and maintain shop drawings and submittals.
  • Ensure subcontractor insurance certificates meet project standards.
  • Prepare and evaluate proposed change orders, requiring estimating expertise.
  • Issue, submit, and monitor Requests for Information (RFIs).
  • Track all permitting requirements and approvals from relevant agencies.
  • Update project schedules with contributions from the Project Team.
  • Coordinate meetings with subcontractors and manage warranty certificate tracking.
  • Compile information and finalize closeout documents.
  • Establish and maintain communication with suppliers and key personnel to ensure timely delivery of materials, tools, and personnel.
  • Secure project sites and company assets while fostering a safe and respectful work environment through effective safety and quality control measures.
  • Communicate performance standards to suppliers and subcontractors, addressing any issues with the Operations Manager.
  • Participate in all planning, progress, and closure meetings to discuss project matters.
  • Assist in managing contractual obligations, design specifications, and project documentation, including:
  • On-site project oversight
  • Project coordination and management
  • Construction billing and cash flow analysis
  • Job cost evaluations
  • Adherence to project timelines
  • Documentation of meeting minutes
  • Procurement of as-built documents
  • Punch list management
  • Cost tracking and analysis
