Resumen del Trabajo

El objetivo principal de esta posición es gestionar las operaciones en uno de nuestros centros de distribución mayorista establecidos que manejan múltiples marcas de equipos, piezas y suministros. Este rol es fundamental para garantizar el funcionamiento eficiente de todas las actividades del Centro de Distribución.

Responsabilidades Esenciales

  • Representar a Baker Distributing Co LLC como un líder en la industria, asegurando la máxima rentabilidad y ventas.
  • Supervisar todas las funciones del centro de distribución de manera profesional, incluyendo la programación de transportistas y envíos, así como la gestión de reclamaciones por daños o pérdidas de equipos/suministros.
  • Coordinar el envío de productos a los centros de ventas y gestionar el inventario de suministros del centro de distribución.
  • Organizar entregas eficientes a centros de ventas, clientes y proveedores.
  • Monitorear y determinar los niveles de inventario adecuados.
  • Supervisar el mantenimiento, la seguridad y las reparaciones de los equipos.
  • Capacitar y supervisar al personal, incluyendo almacén, recepción/envío, entrega y conductores de flota.
  • Elaborar informes y gestionar procesos de reporte de la empresa.
  • Interactuar de manera profesional y cortés con contratistas, clientes y empleados.
  • Coordinar la capacitación del centro de distribución y eventos de la empresa.
  • Gestionar el inventario para asegurar una rotación adecuada y minimizar pérdidas durante el año.
  • Ser responsable del P&L del centro de distribución.
  • Encargarse del reclutamiento, contratación, capacitación y liderazgo de un equipo diverso.
  • Realizar otras tareas según se asignen.

Calificaciones

  • Se requiere diploma de secundaria o GED; se prefiere título universitario en negocios o campo relacionado.
  • Experiencia operativa mínima de 2 a 4 años en la industria mayorista/distribución/logística, preferiblemente en operaciones de una casa de suministro de equipos HVAC.
  • Experiencia en envío, logística, operaciones, gestión de almacenes e inventario.
  • Habilidades interpersonales sólidas, incluyendo ventas, resolución de problemas y servicio al cliente son absolutamente necesarias.
  • Capacidad para trabajar en un entorno dinámico y habilidades para manejar múltiples tareas.
  • Actitud proactiva para aprender, enseñar y liderar.
  • Conocimientos mecánicos o técnicos.
  • Dominio de productos de Microsoft Office.
  • Éxito comprobado en la gestión y mentoría de otros empleados mientras se establecen los objetivos comerciales del centro de distribución.
  • Licencia de conducir válida y actual.
  • Capacidad para operar maquinaria pesada.
