Daily Responsibilities:As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions for complex projects.
Your role will involve leading and mentoring a multidisciplinary team to implement multimodal transportation infrastructure across various settings, from urban roadway reconstructions to rural trail projects that enhance the natural landscape.
Typical projects may include transportation analyses and safety improvement studies. You will utilize software such as AutoCAD or MicroStation for project production.
Your expertise will be shared with both staff and clients, assisting in the development of concept plans and construction documents while ensuring high-quality standards are met.
Work Schedule:This full-time position generally requires 40 hours of work per week.
While currently managed from our headquarters, we provide the necessary tools and flexibility for remote work, collaborating with team members across locations.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering or transportation
- Professional engineering license (PE)
- Over 10 years of experience in roadway or highway construction documentation
- Minimum of 2 years in a project or design management capacity
- Experience overseeing junior staff
- Comprehensive knowledge of civil engineering principles
- Familiarity with transportation and local agency permit documentation
- Proficient in multimodal design practices
- Knowledge of relevant transportation engineering standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Experience in reviewing construction plans and providing feedback
- Ability to develop construction documents, cost estimates, and specifications
