Job Title: Healthcare Architect I-II or Sr

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Healthcare Architect to join our team at TETER, Inc. As a key member of our architecture team, you will be responsible for leading healthcare projects from conception to completion, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and functionality.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of healthcare projects, including hospitals, clinics, and medical office buildings. As a Healthcare Architect, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, including project quality, financial performance, schedule adherence, and client communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project scope, fees, budgets, and schedules during the marketing and contract development process.
  • Lead project teams, managing project quality, financial performance, and schedule adherence.
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients and project teams, keeping all stakeholders informed of project progress and addressing any issues or concerns.
  • Manage project financials, monitoring budget deviations and identifying opportunities for additional services.
  • Coordinate with discipline consultants and internal/external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Foster collaborative working relationships with project teams, providing mentorship and support as needed.
  • Lead architectural design efforts, ensuring designs meet client requirements, project budget, and scope.
  • Maintain strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities and participating in marketing and business development activities.

Requirements

  • Licensed California Architect
  • Bachelor of Architecture or Bachelor of Science in Architecture or completion of professional development program resulting in architectural licensure
  • Experience managing healthcare projects: 3-5 years Level I, 5-8 years for Level II.
  • 4-6 years of document production and coordination in architectural practice.
  • Experience in mentoring junior staff.
  • Detail-oriented with strong instruction-following skills.
  • Proficient in drafting, reading construction documents, REVIT, and BIM.
  • Knowledgeable in architectural terminology, materials, and building design phases.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, able to work independently or in teams
