APAC Central Inc., a CRH company, is seeking a skilled Construction Foreperson to join our team. As a Construction Foreperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful completion of construction projects. You will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the work of construction personnel, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the work of construction personnel, including laborers, equipment operators, and other site staff.
- Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor and control the use of materials and equipment, ensuring that they are used efficiently and effectively.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure that work is being carried out in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or incidents to the Project Superintendent.
- Develop and implement plans to improve site efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments, including engineering, procurement, and quality assurance, to ensure that projects are completed to the required standards.
- 5+ years of experience in construction, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
- Proven track record of successfully completing construction projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of construction personnel.
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
