Assembly Technician

Oshkosh Corporation is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. As a key member of our assembly team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of our equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Assemble equipment components by following detailed instructions and guidelines.
- Operate a variety of mechanical, electrical, and manual tools to assemble parts and subassemblies.
- Drill holes for wires, hoses, and small parts, and operate a torch, plasma cutter, or grinder to cut and shape parts.
- Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements, and install various truck accessories.
- Lift and stack completed subassemblies and parts up to 40 lbs and team lift up to 80lbs.
- Train and work in various areas of assembly in response to production demands, and follow verbal and written work instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- 6+ months of experience in a manufacturing or general labor industry.
- PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: 1+ year(s) of experience in an assembly or mechanical occupation.
