Job Title: Welder

Job Description

Aerotek is seeking skilled Metal Fabrication Technicians to join our dynamic team. As a Welding Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for passing a Weld Test, operating overhead cranes safely, adjusting weld configurations, heating and forming metal parts using various tools, welding in multiple positions, operating measuring devices, assembling and welding metal parts, positioning materials for welding, training in various production areas as needed, following verbal and written instructions, and maintaining a safe and clean workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Pass a Weld Test
  • Operate overhead cranes safely
  • Adjust weld configurations
  • Heat and form metal parts using various tools
  • Weld in multiple positions
  • Operate measuring devices
  • Assemble and weld metal parts
  • Position materials for welding
  • Train in various production areas as needed
  • Follow verbal and written instructions
  • Maintain a safe and clean workspace
Requirements:
  • 6 months experience in MIG Welding
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Operation of measuring devices
