Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and therapies to address speech, language, and hearing disorders.
  • Implement treatment programs, monitoring progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Speech Pathologist in New York State.
  • ASHA certification or equivalent required.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with patients with communication disorders.
