Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hospice On-Call team. As a Hospice On-Call Registered Nurse, you will provide critical care and support to patients and their families during after-hours and weekend periods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical interventions as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions and address any concerns or questions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on best practices and advancements in hospice care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment that fosters a culture of compassion, empathy, and respect.
Requirements
  • RN license in the state of employment
  • At least two years of experience as a registered nurse, with hospice experience preferred
  • Current driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Current CPR and BCLS certification
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings
