Clinical Services Supervisor

The Clinical Supervisor plays a pivotal role in guiding and managing the clinical team while ensuring the delivery of high-quality clinical services.
Essential Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant Behavioral Science discipline with clinical focus (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, or Psychology).
- A minimum of two years of experience in a Clinical Supervisor role.
- Valid MCBAP Clinical Supervisor Credential (CCS or CCS-DP).
- MCBAP Addiction Counselor Certification (CAADC, CADC-M, CADC) is required.
- Appropriate State License (LMSW, LLMSW, LLPC, LPC, ACSW).
- At least two years of experience in the substance abuse field.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, internet navigation, and email communication.
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records systems is preferred.
- Must possess a valid Michigan Chauffeur License.
- Completion of a T.B. Test and a clean police record are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical guidance and leadership to all clinical staff.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and monitor/evaluate documentation.
- Design, implement, and assess all program activities.
- Oversee treatment program admissions, authorizations, and discharges.
- Collaborate with community and healthcare organizations to ensure a comprehensive care continuum.
- Address program emergencies as needed, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Supervise and schedule clinical staff as directed.
- Maintain precise documentation regarding supervised personnel.
- Verify and approve employee hours for payroll processing.
- Provide input on the hiring and termination of clinical staff.
- Review satisfaction surveys related to admissions and discharges.
- Represent the organization in community events and committees as required.
- Manage daily operations in the absence of the Site Administrator.
- Conduct staff meetings, individual supervision sessions, fidelity checks, and clinical case reviews.
- Engage in quality improvement meetings and clinical supervisor gatherings.
- Understand and align with the mission statement of the organization.
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of organizational policies and procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
