About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Franchise Finance Manager to join our team at SERVPRO. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in refining our financial processes, creating training materials, and providing support to our franchise community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Process Improvement: Continuously validate, improve, and communicate the financial aspects of our operating system to the franchise community.
  • Customer Consultation: Leverage the 'Voice of the Customer' by regularly consulting with franchise owners, managers, and consultants to identify, prioritize, and validate work products.
  • Key Performance Metric Improvement: Assist the team in driving Key Performance Metric improvement in the franchise community by identifying areas of improvement and executing plans to capitalize on opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Communicate recent deliverables and progress against team goals with all stakeholders, including the franchise community, Franchise Business Consultants, and Executive Management.
  • Subject Matter Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert for other teams within SERVPRO Headquarters, ensuring alignment with franchise operations and communication to the field.
  • Franchise Support: Manage the delivery of franchise support, which may require on-site assistance in the field.
  • Training and Development: Facilitate finance classes, presentations, special training sessions, and workshops to support the franchise community.
  • One-on-One Support: Assist franchises with one-on-one support via support tickets, emails, and/or phone calls.
  • Process Refinement: Contribute to the continuing refinement of SERVPRO royalty reporting processes and policies, identifying common issues and frequently asked questions from the franchise community.
  • Team Development: Develop and grow a quality team through coaching, mentoring, and providing professional development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Experience: Three years of experience with QuickBooks Online or comparable software, with a certification being preferred.
  • Financial Knowledge: Experience producing, interpreting, and teaching basic and advanced financial reports & ratios.
  • Financial Analysis: Three years of experience working in a financial role analyzing financial statements and job cost data.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in bookkeeping or accounting in the Restoration or Construction field preferred; comparable experience in financial consulting or auditing will be considered.
  • Training Experience: Experience leading training classes, facilitating live training events preferred.
  • Project Management: Project management experience preferred.
  • Management Experience: Prior management or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, especially in conveying technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Working Conditions
  • Work Environment: This position functions in a fast-paced corporate office environment.
  • Working Hours: The standard working hours for this position are Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, but could include occasional evening or Saturday training facilitation.
  • Travel Requirements: The average overnight travel requirement for this position is: 10% - 15%.
