Key Responsibilities
  • Implement, test, maintain, and repair automation equipment
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose automation equipment and mechanical system failures
  • Optimize equipment performance
  • Stay up-to-date with advanced pump and automation theory and maintenance
  • Comply with safety and environmental policies and procedures
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
  • 3-5 years of Instrumentation experience
  • Valid Driver's License
Physical Demands

The Automation Technician will be required to stand, see, talk, and hear regularly. They will also be required to walk, use their hands to use, handle and control equipment, and occasionally reach, climb, and balance.

The Automation Technician must regularly lift and/or move up to 25-50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with appropriate assistance.

Work Environment

The Automation Technician may be exposed to various outside weather conditions, including rain, humidity, snow, and/or heat during daytime hours and/or nighttime hours. The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate to loud for extended periods of time.
