Job Description

PEAK Technical Staffing USA is seeking a highly skilled Automation Controls Specialist to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing, implementing, and maintaining equipment standards within our industries.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing control systems for complex automated systems from the ground up, including developing panel layouts, power distribution and controls wiring diagrams, PLC programs, and HMI programs.
  • Working closely with Project Engineers to develop and implement error-proofing systems.
  • Collaborating with maintenance technicians to troubleshoot and diagnose daily production issues.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Allen Bradley PLC programming.
  • 3+ years of experience in automation.
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing.
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical.

Working Conditions:

  • Must be able to walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, climb ladders and stairs, crawl, and kneel.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 80 pounds unassisted.

Required Safety Equipment:

  • Metatarsal boots.
  • ARC-flash rated clothing.
  • Protective eyewear.
  • Gloves.
  • Hard hat.
  • Heating protection.
