**Warehouse Custodian - Night Shift**

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Facilities team as a Custodian. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse and facilities.

**Responsibilities**

• Ensure sanitation and cleanliness of facilities through performance of assigned duties

• Perform housekeeping and janitorial duties to maintain offices, warehouse, freezer areas, and public areas in clean and orderly condition

• Clean outside areas as needed

• Clean under dock plates

• Sweep, dust, mop, strip, wax, and vacuum floors using equipment such as brooms, vacuum, buffers, and shampooer for all areas in facility

• Empty trash cans in and around the facility

• Scrub warehouse with equipment

• Clean racks, fire systems, fire extinguishers, windows, offices, restrooms, and break rooms

• Pull pallets and clean slots

• Operate scrubber, pallet jack, and scissor lift

• Mix own cleaning solutions to appropriate strength; replenish soap, towels, and tissue containers and perform related tasks

• May assist other service personnel with minor repairs including painting

• Perform other work required as assigned by the Facilities Maintenance Manager and/or operations manager

**Requirements**

• Ability to read and understand cleaning instructions and information

• Ability to lift 25 to 75 lbs periodically

• Able to work in different temperatures for sustained periods of time (-10 degrees, 30 degrees, room temperature)

• Ability to be able to take instruction and work well independently

• Ability to use cleaning chemicals safely

• Ability to understand and operate all equipment safely (buffer, scrubber, scissor lift, pallet jack)

• Comfortable work on ladders and in confined areas safely

• Must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
