Continuous Improvement Manager
Your role and responsibilities
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the implementation of the continuous improvement strategy on a global scale, fostering a culture of ongoing learning and enhancement. Each day, you will guide and mentor teams worldwide to attain operational excellence. You will also demonstrate your expertise by spearheading initiatives aimed at enhancing and maintaining business performance. The work model for this role is remote. You will be primarily responsible for:
- Identifying and escalating issues to relevant stakeholders to eliminate obstacles hindering the successful execution and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives globally, while assisting in resolving conflicting priorities in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Driving significant enhancements in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost objectives, fulfilling commitments to customers and stakeholders in partnership with global leadership.
- Raising awareness and fostering commitment to continuous improvement at the management level throughout the organization.
- Providing training support by creating and maintaining training modules and toolkits aligned with business requirements in collaboration with management and Continuous Improvement teams globally.
- Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field; an MBA or relevant master's degree, along with Lean or Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification, is highly preferred.
- Over 10 years of experience in Transportation and Trade, with proven expertise in Lean and Six Sigma/Quality Science roles.
- A strong history of integrating solid business acumen with change management implementation, showcasing a customer-centric and adaptable problem-solving approach.
- Previous leadership experience in guiding and influencing virtual teams.
- Licensed Customs Broker is highly preferred.
