Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality nursing services to clients, including tracking and administering injections, lab tracking, and completing nursing assessments. They will also oversee the indigent medication program, complete medication consents, and answer patient phone questions.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing services to clients, including tracking and administering injections, lab tracking, and completing nursing assessments.
- Oversee the indigent medication program and complete medication consents.
- Answer patient phone questions and provide education on medication and treatment plans.
- Inventory medications, coordinate drug representative visits, and complete refills for prescriptions.
- Supervise non-licensed medical support staff, as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing and licensure as a Vocational Nurse or Registered Nurse by the Texas State Board of Nursing Examiners.
- One year of experience working with individuals having mental illness in an inpatient or community setting (preferred for LVN), or six months of experience as a RN working with individuals having mental illness in an inpatient or community setting (preferred).
- Valid Texas driver's license and a driving record insurable by Burke's insurance administrator.
The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring strong communication and organizational skills. They will be required to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and drive a vehicle.
Salary:$40,984 - $53,300 annually, depending on licensure and experience.
