Job Overview

The Center for Comprehensive Care & Diagnosis of Inherited Blood Disorders (CIBD) is a mission-driven organization improving the quality of life for people with blood disorders and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Receptionist and Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Assists in the care and services of CIBD patients across the continuum of illness, promoting effective utilization of healthcare resources.
  • Serves as a direct point of contact between CIBD and patients, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and processing payments.
  • Collaborates with the multi-disciplinary care team to achieve optimal clinical and resource outcomes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required; graduation from an accredited school of Medical Assisting preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a front office medical assistant or medical receptionist.
  • Basic Life Support certification and HIPAA training required.
Compensation

Estimated salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
