Key Responsibilities- Develop and Implement Talent Acquisition Strategies: Create and execute recruiting, sourcing, and retention strategies for our marine-based positions, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Build Strong Relationships with Business Leaders: Foster collaborative relationships with business leaders to understand recruitment needs and develop targeted solutions.
- Lead Marine Recruitment Activities: Oversee the day-to-day management of marine-based recruitment activities, including sourcing and selecting candidates, and overseeing the post-offer process.
- Lead and Direct a Team of Recruiting Professionals: Provide guidance and support to a team of recruiting professionals to deliver exceptional customer service and a positive candidate experience.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with HR Business Partners, people leaders, and senior leadership to determine talent needs and develop strategies to meet those needs.
- Support Diversity Recruitment Initiatives: Develop and implement strategies to enhance our company's diversity recruitment efforts, including relationship building, attending events, and job fairs.
- Partner with Community-Based Organizations: Identify and manage community-based relationships to drive recruitment strategies and brand recognition for Ingram Barge Company.
- Use Data to Inform Talent Attraction Strategies: Analyze data to make recommendations and influence talent attraction strategies for our marine-based positions.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert: Provide guidance and expertise on all matters related to marine recruitment and selection.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with business leaders and stakeholders.
- Experience leading and directing a team of recruiting professionals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
