Physical Therapy Assistant PRN

We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing treatment and rehabilitative services to patients to improve mobility, relieve pain and disability under the direction of the Physical Therapist.
Responsibilities- Conduct patient education, including post care planning, proper use of supportive devices and equipment, and gait and functional training.
- Record, monitor, analyze and review clinical data.
- Provide feedback to therapist regarding possible modifications to treatment plan and goals based upon patient performance.
- Adapt recognized therapeutic techniques and modalities to meet the needs of the patient.
- Collaborate with patient service departments and community service agencies to coordinate and conduct educational outreach programs and learning activities.
- Associate of Science (A.S) degree or Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Physical Therapy Assistant program.
- Experience in appropriate healthcare setting preferred.
- Current state of Florida Physical Therapy Assistant license.
- Current FIM (Functional Independence Measure) required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) through American Heart Association (AHA).
