KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The technician will possess the expertise and experience necessary to install, diagnose, and maintain various plant and field instrumentation and equipment. This encompasses, but is not limited to, transmitters, valves, switches, sensors, pumps, motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), switchgear, lighting systems, transformers, and more. This role is highly practical and requires outdoor fieldwork, along with participation in a rotation with colleagues to provide after-hours, on-call support.

A North Dakota Journeyman license is essential for most positions.

  • Proficient in interpreting and executing loop diagrams and P&IDs to install, maintain, and troubleshoot control devices within a well production facility environment.
  • Skilled in maintaining and troubleshooting PLC systems, components, and end devices (including transmitters, guided wave radars, relays, etc.).
  • Capable of diagnosing and maintaining communication equipment and associated components.
  • Knowledgeable and able to safely work on control circuits housed within enclosures alongside other AC circuits.
  • Familiarity with common equipment requiring service, such as Allen Bradley PLCs and Fisher ROC 827/FB3000.

WORK SCHEDULE

  • Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities fulfilled on a rotational basis. The ability to respond to after-hours issues is necessary when scheduled for on-call duty.
