KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The technician will possess the necessary skills and expertise to install, diagnose, and maintain various plant and field instrumentation and equipment. This encompasses, but is not limited to, transmitters, valves, switches, sensors, pumps, motors, variable frequency drives (VFDs), switchgear, lighting systems, transformers, and more. This role is highly practical and involves outdoor fieldwork, as well as participating in a rotation with colleagues to provide after-hours, on-call support.
A North Dakota Journeyman license is required for most positions.
- Capable of interpreting and adhering to loop diagrams and P&IDs to install, maintain, and troubleshoot control devices in a production facility environment.
- Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting PLC systems, components, and end devices (such as transmitters and guided wave radars).
- Adept at diagnosing and servicing communication equipment and components.
- Knowledgeable and skilled in safely working on control circuits within enclosures that contain other AC circuits.
- Familiarity with common equipment to be serviced, including Allen Bradley PLCs and Fisher ROC 827/FB3000.
WORK SCHEDULE
- Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities managed on a rotational basis. The ability to respond to after-hours issues is essential when scheduled for on-call duty.
