Job Overview

A career opportunity has arisen at Arkansas Urology for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.

About the Role:

  • We are seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to assist with processing prescriptions, verifying information, and communicating with patients and healthcare providers.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive patient information.
  • You will also assist with prior authorizations, track dispensed medications, and perform routine tasks to prepare prescribed medications for patients.
  • In addition, you will work closely with our clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordinate care for patients.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; ASHP accredited Pharmacy Technician Program or Associates Degree preferred.
  • One year of pharmacy experience desirable.
  • Excellent knowledge of drug names and willingness to continue education on new drugs.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
