Role Summary:
We are in search of a proactive and seasoned HR Business Partner (HRBP) with extensive experience in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in human resources, focusing on comprehensive recruitment processes for engineering roles, employee relations, and training and development initiatives. This position plays a pivotal role in shaping our HR strategy and ensuring the seamless execution of HR functions within a manufacturing context.
Recruitment Management:
- Oversee the complete recruitment lifecycle for various engineering roles, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Formulate and execute recruitment strategies to attract high-caliber talent.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to ascertain their staffing requirements.
- Conduct interviews and assist hiring managers in candidate assessment.
Employee Relations:
- Act as a trusted resource for employees and management on HR-related issues.
- Address and resolve employee concerns and conflicts with fairness and consistency.
- Conduct investigations and provide actionable recommendations for resolution.
- Promote a positive workplace culture and enhance employee engagement initiatives.
Leadership Development:
- Guide and mentor plant leadership on effective management practices.
- Manage performance-related issues, including disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
- Design and implement leadership development programs.
Training and Development:
- Assess training needs and create programs to elevate employee skills and career growth.
- Organize and lead training sessions and workshops.
- Evaluate training program effectiveness and implement improvements as necessary.
- Support initiatives aimed at identifying and nurturing future leaders within the organization.
- Facilitate career development programs to aid employee progression.
- Implement strategies to boost employee engagement and retention.
Strategic HR Collaboration:
- Partner with plant leadership to define long-term organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and execute talent management strategies aligned with these objectives.
- Utilize insights from interactions with plant personnel and business leaders to inform operational plans.
Performance Management:
- Assist in establishing work and development objectives for employees.
- Coordinate the performance appraisal process.
- Develop and implement performance enhancement plans as required.
Compliance and Risk Management:
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate and current employee records.
- Support the implementation of health and safety initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 5 years of HR experience, with a strong focus on recruitment and employee relations.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting for engineering positions within a manufacturing setting.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Proficient in HRIS and recruitment software.
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Willingness to maintain a full-time schedule with regular in-person attendance.
- Ability to engage professionally with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR).
- Experience in the manufacturing sector is essential.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to navigate work environments, including walking, standing, and climbing.
- Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch as necessary.
