About the Role
Miles Staffing Group LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Director to lead our culinary team in Santa Barbara, CA. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for providing culinary leadership and expertise to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement culinary strategies to drive menu planning, program execution, and staff management and training.
- Work closely with internal and external clients to manage the catering process from beginning to end.
- Oversee full P&L responsibility, including financial reporting, food ordering, inventory, employee scheduling, menu development, point-of-sale systems, and marketing.
- Lead and motivate staff to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with assigned chefs and supervisors to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts or a related field.
- At least 2 years of work experience in food or culinary services, including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
- Experience in financial reporting, food ordering, inventory, employee scheduling, menu development, and food preparation and production.
- Experience in managing catering and retail areas.
- At least 2 years of management experience.
