Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Feeder/Packer to join our manufacturing operations team. As a Feeder/Packer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth production of our products. Your attention to detail, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and commitment to safety will be essential in achieving our goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures

• Assist in housekeeping during downtime to ensure a safe working environment

• Inspect containers for quality defects before and after printing, and report any issues to the team

• Follow all plant and departmental safety practices, including bending, lifting, and housekeeping

• Sign or initial each tray pack label for shipping to ensure accuracy

• Collaborate with the Lead Printer to understand customer orders, product types, quantities, and quality criteria

• Understand stack and quantity per tray, direction of product stack, and proper labeling

• Know how to properly place containers on the mandrel to avoid damage to products or equipment

• Prevent containers from backing up in the dryer

• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Ability to keep up with fast-paced production cycles

• Position requires agility and consistent attention to detail

• Ability to tolerate constant repetition

• Some workstations may require sitting or standing for long periods of time

• Must be able to frequently lift, bend, and reach to perform necessary job functions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds safely

• Must be able to identify alpha/numeric product codes

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous printing experience is a plus, but not required

• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English is a plus

• Good communication skills, able to follow directions and pass on important information

• Ability to work alone and in a group setting

• Can be content doing routine work
