Regional Operations Manager

The Regional Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the operational aspects of the company, ensuring seamless commercial order processing and efficient yard operations. This individual is responsible for aligning all operations functions across the region to foster consistency and drive productivity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of branch operations in the region, ensuring alignment with company standards.
  • Directly manage Operations Managers on a branch level, providing guidance and support for their success.
  • Partner with the Regional Director for strategic alignment, ensuring regional goals are met.
  • Align processing and improvement through Operational KPIs, regional budgets, CapEx, and cost tracking.
  • Create and execute consistent process execution across all branches, driving efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee and manage safety protocols, ensuring a secure and compliant work environment for all employees in partnership with the Safety Director.
  • Review internal procedures, recommend process improvements, and ensure compliance to existing Doka corporate processes and standards within the region.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist and HR for recruiting, onboarding, integrating, and training needs for all FTE, ensuring a smooth transition into the team.
  • Responsible for overseeing inventory levels, conducting audits, and implementing efficient tracking systems to ensure accurate inventory stock.
  • Manage the P&L Cost Center and DOH in alignment with Area Managers, including FTE and headcount planning.
  • Continually manage operational skills & competency needs, including future planning.
  • Continually work to progress and improve operational business functions to evolve to the Doka standard.
  • Confirm regional procurement of goods and services is coordinated with the Regional Controller and Procurement, within signing authority limits and in compliance with procurement guidelines.
  • Responsible for managing the rollout of new operational projects.
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans and succession planning.

Additional responsibilities as needed and determined by the Director of Operations.
