About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our operations in San Diego. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering safe and reliable service, managing employee oversight, and ensuring financial performance.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve corporate and property safety goals, service performance, and financial objectives.
  2. Identify and develop business growth opportunities, and optimize return on assets deployed within the business.
  3. Ensure services are provided within budget and develop action plans to improve operational efficiencies.
  4. Manage all staff, development, and training in liaison with the corporate team as appropriate.
  5. Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and Transdev corporate safety standards.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  1. A minimum of 10 years of experience as a General Manager of a project of a similar size and scope.
  2. Proven ability to grow and adapt quickly with proven performance and expertise in providing high-quality service to the community.
  3. Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws, and thorough knowledge of ordinances and regulations underlying the transit operation.
  4. Prior experience working with collective bargaining agreements and managing all aspects of a fixed-route service.
