Job Title: RN - Pre Surgical Services

Providence Milwaukie Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pre Surgical Services team on a per diem basis. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals who are dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.

Job Summary:

This per diem RN position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Pre Surgical Services department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing pre-surgical procedures
  • Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification
  • Relevant certifications applicable to the position, as specified by the Nurse Manager
  • 1 year of nursing experience
