Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Experience Coordinator to join our team at Weis Markets. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth shopping experience, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct the flow of customers through the front end, ensuring efficient service and minimal wait times.
  • Smile and greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns in a polite and professional manner.
  • Enforce security and cash control procedures to prevent losses and maintain accurate cash handling.
  • Monitor and provide feedback to management on the performance of cashiers and lot attendants.
  • Participate in training and retraining of front-end associates to ensure high levels of productivity and customer satisfaction.
  • Operate front-end scanning equipment and register, performing all related checkout procedures.
  • Assist customer service with answering phone calls and using the intercom for necessary announcements.
  • Maintain accuracy during transactions, ensuring customers are charged correctly and proper funds are collected.
  • Responsible for general sanitation in the department, following cleaning schedules and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: Working towards a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • No prior experience required.
