Job Title: Speech and Language Pathologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech and Language Pathologist to join our team at Castle Rock School District 401. As a Speech and Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for providing speech and language services to students with communication disorders.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and be eligible for Washington State ESA certification as a Speech Language Pathologist/Audiologist. You will work collaboratively with special education and general education teams to develop and deliver speech-language services to support communication skills relevant to educational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic speech/language and communication assessments, identify needs, and prepare therapy plans.
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
  • Provide therapeutic services to students with identified communication disorders, including case management for communication disordered only students.
  • Work collaboratively with special education and general education teams to develop and deliver speech-language services.
  • Maintain records and information concerning individual students in the prescribed confidential manner.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Eligible for Washington State ESA certification as a Speech Language Pathologist/Audiologist.
  • Eligible for Department of Health license as an SLP.
  • Successful training/teaching experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred.
Benefits:

Castle Rock School District 401 offers a competitive salary range of $57,040 - $107,508, as well as medical, dental, vision, basic long-term disability, basic life, and AD & D insurance through School Employees Benefits Board (SEBB). Employees may also be eligible to participate in FSA, DCAP, HSA, and other supplemental benefits. Paid sick, personal, religious, and bereavement leave is also offered.

Physical Requirements:

The successful candidate must be able to stand, walk, and sit frequently or for prolonged periods of time. Additionally, physical abilities include lifting/carrying/pushing/pulling, stooping/crouching, reaching/handling/fingering, talking/hearing conversations, and near/far visual acuity/depth perception/color vision/field of vision.
