Job Overview

At Jitterbit, we are seeking highly skilled Technical Sales Consultants (presales) to support the increasing demand for our innovative platform and contribute to our business expansion. This role will report directly to the leader of Sales Engineering for North America. The ideal candidate will focus on establishing strategic partnerships with our enterprise clients and prospects, acting as a trusted advisor and a subject matter expert on our products.

As a Technical Sales Consultant, your primary responsibility will be to comprehend the current operational state of our clients and propose a feasible future state utilizing Jitterbit solutions. Your success in this position will be measured by your ability to apply your expertise in integration best practices and APIs. You will engage with various stakeholders, including developers, architects, managers, VPs, and C-level executives, who are assessing multiple integration solutions from various providers. Therefore, possessing excellent listening skills is essential to assist prospects and clients throughout their purchasing journey. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to influence our product development and enhance our product roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Enterprise Account Executives to design and deliver a comprehensive integration strategy for our clients, partners, and prospects evaluating an integration platform.
  • Act as a trusted advisor for clients navigating their digital transformation.
  • Develop in-depth product knowledge while demonstrating how the Jitterbit Harmony platform addresses the challenges faced by our clients.
  • Engage with a diverse array of stakeholders (developers, architects, C-level executives) to communicate the value propositions of Jitterbit.
  • Serve as the platform ambassador at user conferences, webinars, and other marketing events.
  • Utilize effective sales methodologies to enhance the likelihood of securing business from our clients.
  • Possess extensive experience with technical discovery methodologies that assist the sales team in identifying technical compatibility.
  • Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to refine our offerings and positively influence our product roadmap based on client feedback.
  • Provide insights and feedback on client needs to product development.
  • Mentor junior sales engineers.
  • Create and maintain reusable content such as presentations and demonstrations.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Computer Science is advantageous.
  • 5+ years of technical experience in the integration domain.
  • Presales experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional presentation skills for engaging with clients and internal stakeholders, including the ability to create and deliver tailored demonstrations to various executive levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Hands-on experience with integration products or APIs in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, etc.
  • Proficiency in applications like Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, NetSuite, and BMC is highly desirable.
  • Deep understanding of APIs (RESTful and SOAP).
  • Experience with tools such as Postman and SoapUI.
  • Willingness to travel 10-25%.
