Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at Monro Muffler Brake. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for conducting vehicle diagnostics, performing routine repairs and maintenance services, and delivering exceptional customer service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform basic vehicle diagnostics to identify required repairs
  • Complete Monro's Courtesy Inspection process, identifying and communicating additional needed services and repairs
  • Assist with inventory management, including pulling tires and parts, and stocking inventory
  • Perform general store duties, ensuring the store is maintained to Monro standards for cleanliness and guest readiness
  • Consistently perform services in accordance with Monro's safety standards, including wheel torque, oil safety, and compliance procedures
  • Test drive vehicles in accordance with Monro's Road Test policy
  • Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures, including governmental standards and ANSI/OSHA standards
  • Maintain technical knowledge and capabilities through timely completion of Monro University training courses and modules
  • Operate and maintain equipment in a safe manner, in accordance with Monro and equipment manufacturer guidelines
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Automotive training, including basic car maintenance and repair, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ASE certification and State Inspection license (where applicable) preferred
  • Current valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • Ability to own a basic set of tools or participate in Monro's tool purchase program
