Coast Community College District is seeking a part-time instructor to teach health sciences courses. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health education and be able to provide high-quality instruction to students.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching health sciences courses, including health education, health promotion, and disease prevention. They will also be expected to develop and implement curriculum, assess student learning, and provide feedback to students. Additionally, the instructor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, attending department meetings, and participating in professional development opportunities.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, applicants must have a master's degree in health science, health education, or a related field. They must also have a strong background in health education and be able to provide high-quality instruction to students.
Desirable Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have experience teaching health sciences courses, a strong background in health education, and be able to provide high-quality instruction to students. They will also be expected to have a strong commitment to student learning and success.
Working Conditions
This is a part-time, temporary position, and the hours of work and effective date of employment will be arranged with the supervisor. The instructor will be expected to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
