Job Summary

Precision Scans Inc is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our team. As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to capture detailed images of patients' internal structures for diagnostic purposes.

Key Responsibilities
  • X-Ray Scans: Operate X-ray machines to perform imaging procedures, including chest, abdominal, skeletal, and other studies as ordered by a physician.
  • Patient Preparation: Prepare and position patients for X-ray exams, explain procedures, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
  • Image Acquisition and Review: Capture and review X-ray images for quality and diagnostic accuracy, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal results.
Qualifications
  • Radiation Safety: Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of X-ray equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and reporting any issues or needed repairs.
  • Documentation: Accurately document patient information, imaging procedures, and relevant clinical details in the patient's medical record.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic information and coordinate patient care.
  • Patient Care: Provide compassionate and professional care, addressing patient concerns and ensuring a positive experience throughout the imaging process.
Requirements
  • Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
  • Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in Radiography (ARRT-R) required. State licensure where applicable.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an X-Ray Technologist preferred.
Work Environment

Work is performed in a hospital, outpatient clinic, or imaging center. Requires standing for extended periods and physically assisting patients. Exposure to radiation, with appropriate safety measures and protective equipment in place.
