We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician Associate to join our team at Providence St. Peter Hospital. As a Pharmacy Technician Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and accurate dispensing of medications to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications
  • Perform duties related to the filling and dispensing of unit dose, IV, and chemotherapeutic medications
  • Operate pharmacy equipment and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Successful completion of a Pharmacy Technician Level A training program certified by the Washington State Board of Pharmacy
  • Washington Pharmacy Technician License upon hire
  • Experience with telephone call prioritization and stressful/urgent need situations
  • Three months of practical experience in a hospital pharmacy under the direct supervision of a pharmacist
  • Experienced in IV admixture/aseptic techniques
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of hospital pharmacy experience
