CBRN Mobile Detection Deployment Surge Support Specialist

SummitET is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to support the Mobile Detection Deployment Unit (MDDU) program. As a CBRN Mobile Detection Deployment Surge Support Specialist, you will provide part-time surge support to the MDDU program, utilizing your expertise to carry out MDDU protocols and procedures. Your responsibilities will include initiating, organizing, and reporting on all MDDU program taskings during deployment operations, as well as providing just-in-time training on MDDU deployed equipment to stakeholders at MDDU events.
This is a unique opportunity to join a team of experts who are dedicated to protecting and building capability of government, non-government organizations, and the private sector to prevent, respond to, mitigate, and recover from all-hazard threats. As a member of our surge capacity force, you will have the opportunity to work on a rotational basis for scheduled events and short-notice deployments, with travel covered by the contract.
Key Responsibilities- Provide part-time surge support to the MDDU program
- Utilize expertise to carry out MDDU protocols and procedures
- Initiate, organize, and report on all MDDU program taskings during deployment operations
- Provide just-in-time training on MDDU deployed equipment to stakeholders at MDDU events
- Support and report on the coordination, initiation, progress, and closeout of MDDU deployments
- 5 years of relevant experience in R/N detection training and supporting preventive R/N detection mission operations at special events or during steady state operations
- Knowledgeable in using R/N detection equipment, including Personal Radiation Detectors, Human Portable Radiation Detection Backpacks, and Radiological Isotope Identification Devices
- Able to perform minor maintenance/upkeep and complete multi-step troubleshooting efforts
- Must have a National security secret-level clearance and DHS Suitability
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds of equipment
