We are currently looking for a proficient Electrical Maintenance Specialist to support a prominent organization in the life sciences sector. The ideal candidate will be tasked with diagnosing and resolving issues related to electrical and control systems throughout the facility and various machinery. This position requires prompt response to urgent situations and collaboration with suppliers to ensure efficient repairs and upkeep. Strong documentation abilities are crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Execute maintenance and provide assistance for all electrical systems and associated tasks.

2. Conduct preventive maintenance on life science process equipment and instruments.

3. Implement minor modifications to machinery, including the installation and validation of change components.

4. Exhibit proficiency in PLCs and control systems for machinery.

5. Diagnose and rectify equipment failures to reduce production interruptions.

6. Work closely with the operations team to improve machinery and process efficiency.

7. Comply with company SOPs and collaborate effectively within a team.

8. Support the engineering team with various initiatives.

9. Ensure all documentation is maintained in accordance with company policies and cGMP standards.

10. Manage and oversee inventory for electrical supplies.

11. Engage with suppliers to identify and acquire necessary components.

12. Adhere to all safety regulations as mandated by OSHA and other relevant authorities.

13. Assist the facility team in maintaining equipment.

14. Support the validation team in executing facility and equipment validations.

15. Perform additional responsibilities as required.

16. Uphold all company policies and standards.

Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent; a diploma in an electrical or mechanical discipline is preferred.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the life sciences industry, particularly in a cGMP environment, focusing on process equipment and facility troubleshooting.

- An electrical license in New Jersey is preferred.

- Strong understanding of instrumentation, mechanical, and electrical systems.

- Excellent verbal communication skills.

- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:
The role may necessitate working under pressure to meet deadlines.

Flexibility in working hours is essential.

Some travel may be required.
