We are seeking a skilled Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team at Global Life Science Hub. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting electrical and control systems within the facility and on various equipment. This role requires responding to emergency calls and coordinating with vendors to ensure timely repairs and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and provide support for all electrical systems and related tasks.
- Perform preventive maintenance on pharmaceutical process equipment and instruments.
- Carry out minor modifications to equipment, including the installation and qualification of change parts.
- Demonstrate expertise in PLCs and control systems for equipment.
- Assist the engineering team with various projects.
- Ensure all documentation is maintained in compliance with company policies and cGMP requirements.
- Manage and maintain inventory for electrical supplies.
- Engage with vendors to identify and procure necessary parts.
- Support the facility team in maintaining equipment.
- Assist the validation team in conducting facility and equipment validations.
Requirements:
- A diploma in an electrical or mechanical field is preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in a cGMP environment, focusing on process equipment and facility troubleshooting.
- An electrical license in New Jersey is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of instrumentation, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as required.
- Some travel may be required.
