Position Overview:
The Power Systems Engineer will collaborate with Transmission Managers across various eastern interconnection markets. This role is essential for ensuring the accuracy and relevance of power flow models used in industry-standard software.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Maintain and update power flow models for software applications such as PowerWorld and TARA, tailored for assigned markets including NYISO, MISO, PJM, and SPP.
2. Partner with Transmission Managers to conduct thorough project analyses.
3. Execute Greenfield assessments and prepare informative presentations for Developers.
4. Uphold CEII approval status consistently.
5. Engage in model development discussions as necessary.
6. Acquire knowledge about assigned markets to enhance expertise.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) from an ABET accredited institution or equivalent is required.
- A minimum of one year of experience in power flow analysis within an electric utility, consulting firm, or similar organization is preferred. Candidates with a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or relevant internship experience will also be considered.
