We are seeking a skilled Clinical Care Partner to join our team at the University of California. As a Clinical Care Partner, you will work under the direct supervision of registered nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform basic patient care skills, including vital sign collection and specimen collection.
  • Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Position, transfer, and transport patients safely and efficiently.
  • Assist with feedings, self-care, and elimination needs.
  • Accurately observe, report, and chart patient information.

Requirements:

  • Current California Certification of Nursing Assistant or current enrollment in a state-approved nursing school program.
  • BLS certification required.
  • Ability to speak clearly and distinctly using appropriate English vocabulary and grammar.
  • Ability to understand oral and written directives.
  • Ability to read and write Standard English text.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic computations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of basic computer fundamentals.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work to complete assignments in a timely manner.
