Clinical Care Partner

The Administrative Clinical Care Partner is a vital member of our team, responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support in the Cardiothoracic Surgical Unit. As a professional caregiver, you will work under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse and be accountable for maintaining inventory, performing basic patient care skills, and following infection control practices. Your tasks will include cleaning and preparing gurneys, assisting with vital signs, and transporting patients ready for discharge under the discretion of the registered nurse. Additionally, you will report any pertinent information to the Registered Nurse and perform other delegated tasks as needed. Your shift may be variable to meet departmental needs.
Responsibilities:
* Maintain inventory of chart supplies, patient educational supplies, and daily unit supplies
* Perform basic patient care skills, including vital signs and transfers
* Follow infection control practices and maintain a clean and safe environment
* Assist with transporting patients before and after procedures
* Clean and prepare gurneys as needed
* Report any pertinent information to the Registered Nurse
Requirements:
* Current valid CA CNA License
* BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
* Ability to perform all physical requirements pertaining to delegated nursing, PT/OT, and RT assisted tasks
