Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and operate emergency medical equipment and vehicles.
Requirements
  • Connecticut State Certified Firefighter II
  • Connecticut State Certified EMT
  • Class Q or a Class "B" CDL with a "Tanker" endorsement
  • Ability to pass a comprehensive medical exam and the Airport Firefighter Certification program
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fire Department, Firefighting, and Rescue Service experience from a Military, Municipal, Airport, Industrial, or Organized Volunteer Fire Department
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
