We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthetist to join our team at Emory Healthcare. As a Cardiac Anesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing cardiac surgery and other procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer general and regional anesthesia to patients undergoing cardiac surgery and other procedures
  • Monitor patients' physiological and pharmacological status during anesthesia
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective anesthesia care
  • Participate in research projects and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) or Certified Anesthesiologist Assistant (CAA) Master's Degree program
  • Licensed or eligible to practice in the State of Georgia
  • Certified by National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) or National Commission for Certification of Anesthesiologist Assistants (NCCAA)
  • Must maintain biannual certification through the submission of Continuing Medical Education credits (CMEs)
  • BLS certification from American Heart Association (AHA) required
