Job Summary

The University of Texas at Dallas seeks experienced professionals to teach in the undergraduate, BS, Healthcare Leadership and Management Program.

Candidates will serve as part-time faculty teaching an introductory class (The American Healthcare System or Healthcare Policy and Regulatory Environment).

The ideal candidate will be an expert in their field, bringing industry knowledge and education experience to provide a comprehensive experience to students, helping them develop the skills necessary to be effective healthcare leaders.

These classes are taught in-person at the University.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and teach undergraduate classes and/or labs
  • Maintain contact with student population in the classroom and via electronic learning platforms
  • Contribute assessment information and data as requested through the administration and the Assessment Team
  • Participate in course evaluation surveys
Requirements
  • An earned graduate degree appropriate to the academic discipline/topic and a record of productivity and professional achievement
  • 4 years of teaching experience is preferred
  • Candidates must have professional/relevant experience in the healthcare space
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Excellent time management and written communication skills
